Year Level Breakdown
Foundation to Year 2
In the early years, the focus is on developing basic motor skills and introducing students to a variety of physical activities. Through play-based learning, students explore fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching. They participate in activities that enhance coordination, balance, and spatial awareness. The program also promotes social interaction, cooperation, and fair play. This aligns with the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education (HPE) for Foundation to Year 2.
Year 3 to Year 6
During these years, students build upon their fundamental movement skills and begin to explore specific sports and activities in more depth. They learn basic rules and tactics associated with team sports, individual sports, and modified games. Students also develop their understanding of the importance of physical activity for health and well-being. The program encourages participation in organized sports events, fostering teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Year 7 to Year 9
